We bid farewell to Mary Ann Ransom of Charleston, Mississippi, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on September 27, 2025 at the age of 71. Mary Ann touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Stone and Mildred Stone; her siblings, Raymond Stone of Drew, Sonny Stone of Jackson and Brenda McCollough of Drew; her grandson Zander Hall of Hernando; and her great grandchild Waylon Wren of Hernando.
She is survived by: her husband Danny Ransom; her children, Jason Hall of Charleston, Robert Hall (Sonya) of Hernando, April Goad of Inverness and Becky Kendall (Ray) of Cascilla; and her sisters, Ruby Mullins (Larry) and Becky Sheedy of Cleveland, MS.. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Newsom Funeral Home (911 E Main St, Charleston, MS 38921). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
