He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Griggs; his children, Diana Griggs of California and Michael Griggs of Memphis, Tennessee; his granddaughter Rachel York (John Michael) of Georgia; and his great grandchildren, Charlotte York and Tristan York. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
