With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jack Speed of Chatawa, Mississippi, born in Great Lakes, Illinois, who passed away on February 12, 2023 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandmother Lillie Speed; and his parents, Keith Paugh and Virginia P. Reynolds. He is survived by: his wife Dawn Patterson; his children, June Gatlin (Patrick) of Huntsville, AL and Dan Speed (Brooke) of Chatawa, MS; his grandchildren, John Speed, Grant Gatlin, Lily Speed and Grace Gatlin; his stepsons, Clay, Andre and Brock Freeman; his stepgrandchildren, Catlyn, Mason, Madison, Harleigh, Karis, Alex, Cheyenne, Hannah, Kipton, BraeLyn and Clayson; and his siblings, Linda Lindeen (Steve) and Wilbern Reynolds (Telena).
In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to St. Jude's Hospital for Children–Jack's favorite charity which he donated to faithfully.
