She was predeceased by : her parents, Thomas Martin and Frankye Gross. She is survived by : her husband Chester Townsend Harrell; her daughters, Nita Pharis (late Leo) of Clarksdale and Karen Rybolt (Rocky) of Clarksdale; her grandchildren, Chess Rybolt (Carrie), Michael Rybolt, Haley Chapin (Dan), Jayme Wright, Jason Rybolt (Beth) and Kellye Hutson (Nathan); her great grandchildren, Aaron Catt, Coleman Bailey (Taylor), Nathan Catt (Shelby), Hannah Catt, Abigail Nelson, Claudia Rybolt, Gabriel Chapin, Icely Chapin, Jayce Wright, Garner Rybolt, Amelia Rybolt and James Hutson; her great great grandchildren, Pharis Catt and Dutton Bailey; and her caregiver Nancy. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 10th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Oakhurst Baptist Church (828 W 2nd St, Clarksdale, MS 38614). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 10th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.

The family asks that memorials be given to a local ministry that was near and dear to her heart, Transformation Garden at 278 College Ave, Tupelo, MS 38801.
