He was predeceased by : his parents, James W. Paris and Alma Williams Paris; and his brothers, Billy Paris and Ricky Paris. He is survived by : his wife Eloise Self Paris; his children, James D. Paris of Clarksdale, MS, Elizabeth McCaffrey (Randy) of Gulfport, MS and Jessica Brewster (Willard) of Houston, TX; and his grandchildren, Serena McKnight, Amber Roberts, Jacob McCaffrey, Kayla Morton, Alyssa Paris, McKenzie Paris and Caitlyn Brewster. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
