He is survived by: his siblings, Donald Tackett (Betty), Roy Tackett (Faye), Dorothy Ann Nasser and Sue Tackett; and his stepchildren, Jennifer Hale, Jason Hale (Helen) and Jackie Duff. He is also survived by two nieces; three nephews; several cousins; eleven grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
