He was predeceased by : his wife Annie Bryant; his parents, John Bryant and Rosie Redd Bryant Gore; and his brothers, Quincy Bryant and Charles Bryant.

He is survived by : his brothers, Jackie Bryant (Deborah) of West Point, MS, James Bryant of Tupelo, MS and Byron "Bubba" Gore (Tammy) of Clarksdale, MS..
