She was predeceased by: her husband Ben Himelstein; her parents, Abe Isaacson and Eva Isaacson (Michaelson); her sisters, Mildred Wasserman and Leah Ehrich; and her grandson Michael Himelstein.

She is survived by: her family, Arnold, Gloria Himelstein of Clarksdale, Jerry and Linda Himelstein of Essex; her grandchildren, Lori Sternberg of Westfield, Abram Himelstein, Shana Sassoon of New Orleans, Jenna and Brian Hsiang of Essex; and her great grandchildren, Abby, Asher, Anna Sternberg, Jade, Iris Hsiang and Simone Himelstein. She is also survived by four nieces and nephews, eight grandnieces and nephews and their spouses and children.
