She was predeceased by: her husband Ernest Strider Jr.; and her parents, Harvey Brown and Daisy Russell Brown. She is survived by: her sons, Ernest Strider III (Rebecca) of Clarksdale, MS, Norris Shane Strider of Rena Lara, MS and David Strider of Rena Lara, MS. She is also survived by five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
