As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Karen may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She is survived by: her daughter Jessica Lee Jefcoat (Geneva Diann); her granddaughters, Emma Jaymes Smith, Rylee Klaire Jefcoat, McKynlee Faye Jefcoat and Lynlee-Ann Marie Jefcoat; her parent Charlotte Thompson; and her close friend Richey Lee. She is also survived by many extended family members, friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to support the nursing staff (snacks, drinks, etc.) of the Baptist Memorial Hospital–Oxford ICU, as well as donations for families in the ICU waiting room (toiletries, blankets, socks, etc.) who are caring for a sick loved one.
