Laurice was predeceased by: husband Kittrell Smith, Jr.; son Charles W. Smith; parents, Ben Ingram and Minnie Martin Ingram; and siblings, Jimmy Ingram and Mable Grace Fender.
Laurice is survived by: children, John Wayne Smith (Jeanne) of Spring Hill, TN, Kendall Frazier Smith (Judy) of Fort Pierce, FL and Denise Smith Edwards (Mike) of Clarksdale, MS; daughter-in-law Becky Smith of Olive Branch, MS; and grandchildren, Anthony Smith, Michael Smith, Jeff Smith, Amy Laurice Stanton, Todd Stanton, Rob Smith, Ben Smith, Joseph Smith and Jacob Smith. Laurice is also survived by fourteen great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Clarksdale Baptist Church (401 1st St, Clarksdale, MS 38614). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
