He is survived by: his wife Sharon Lassett Wright of Lyon, MS; his children, Matthew Wright (Keely) of Oklahoma City, OK, Hadyen Wright of Collierville, TN and Meri Carson Wright of Lyon, MS; his stepdaughters, Hillary Porter of Marks, MS and Landry Sudduth of Clarksdale, MS; his sister Cyndia Wright (Christy) of Southaven, MS; and his grandchildren, Kambry Wright, Mattix Wright, Mackenzie Sudduth, Emily Porter, Jacob Smith, Meri Myles Jaco and Abel Jaco.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Meredith-Nowell Funeral Home (314 E 2nd St, Clarksdale, MS 38614). A memorial service was held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
