Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Nickey leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Cissy Baker and Gene Baker Sr.; and his brothers, Albert M. Sewell and Thomas J. Baker. He is survived by: his significant other Teresa Flowers; his children, Nickey T. Sewell (Janet) of Arlington, TN, Ronnie Mac Sewell (Shelli) of Covington, TN, Julie Joffre (David) of Memphis, TN and JoAnne Hood (Christopher) of Tunica, MS.; and his siblings, Joan Sewell Walker of Bartlett, TN and Gene P. Baker (Kyna) of Little Rock, AR.. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
