She is survived by: her children, Allan Douglas Shackelford, Jr. (Gwynne) and Ann Gee Connell (Will); her grandchildren, Lea Purczinsky (Nathan), Margaret Shackelford, Woody Connell (Kendall), Grace Connell, Luke Connell and David Connell; and her great grandchildren, Nicholas Purczinsky and Peter Connell.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. George's Episcopal Church (106 Sharkey Ave, Clarksdale, MS 38614). A memorial service was held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be directed to St. George's Episcopal Church.
