She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Ferrante and Mary Frances Pitarre Ferrante; her husband Nelms Mitchell; her son Lacey McCullar; and her siblings, Chris, Phil, Sam Ferrante, Fran Chambers and Birdie Mazzola.

She is survived by: her children, Chris Green (Gary) of Clarksdale and David McCullar (Janet) of Arlington, TN; her grandchildren, Morgan Walker (Andy), Coleman Card, Matthew McCullar and Scott McCullar; and her great grandchildren, Rose and Ruthie Walker.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Clarksdale First United Methodist Church (405 E 2nd St, Clarksdale, MS 38614). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

Memorials may be made to Clarksdale Methodist Church or to Presbyterian Day School in Clarksdale, where her grandchildren attended.
