With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruby Carpenter (Clarksdale, Mississippi), who passed away on December 31, 2023 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her husband Harvey Gene Carpenter; her parents, Robert E. Lee and Lula Walker Harmon, Jr.; her siblings, Robert Harmon, James Harmon, Michael Harmon and Julie Williams; and her grandsons, Jason Carpenter and Brandon Carpenter.
She is survived by : her children, Glen Carpenter (Ruth) of Porum, OK, Curtis Carpenter (Beth) of Lyon, MS, Ricky Carpenter of Covington, TN, Debbie Simmons (Eddie) of Clarksdale, MS and Donna Collins of Millbrook, AL; and her sisters, Bobbie Pritchard of Saltillo, MS and Jennie Knight of Saltillo, MS. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren.
In honor of Ruby's giving spirit, her family requests for donations to be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or to a charity of your choice.
