She was predeceased by: her parents, Edith Mitchell Boswell and William Sanford Boswell, Sr.; her husband Gerald Jacks; her brother Bill Boswell, Jr.; and her brothers-in-law, Warner Wadlington and Tom Kimbro.
She is survived by: her children, Emily Jacks Mosley (Don), Bethany Jacks Dowdy (Charles), Will Jacks and Tom Jacks (Katie); her sisters, Kathy Boswell Nichols (Tom) and Melanie Boswell Wadlington; her grandchildren, Meredith Mosley, Caroline Mosley, Wayne Dowdy, Beth Dowdy, Jacks Dowdy, Wilkins Dowdy, Lila Jacks and Hanson Jacks; her sisters-in-law, Miriam Jacks Kimbro and Nancy Davis Boswell; and her caregiver Erica Topping. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 18th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Luke United Methodist Church (1227 Deering St, Cleveland, MS 38732). A memorial service will be held on Monday, May 18th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial donations can be made in Beth's name to Millsaps College, Delta Arts Alliance, and St. Luke United Methodist Church.
