With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty May Connell (Cleveland, Mississippi), who passed away on December 4, 2023 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Matthew Jr. Matthews and Sarah Louise Matthews; her husband Robert Edward Connell III; and her siblings, Joyce McGregor and Mark Matthews.

She is survived by : her sons, Robert Ed Connell (Laura Lee) of Cleveland and Matt Connell (Jill) of Lakeland, TN.; her siblings, Almeda "Boots" Wilson, Anna Schmaltz and Alan Matthews; and her grandchildren, Carter, Chase, Andrew and Aubrey Connell.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Jude Hospital.
