She was predeceased by: her parents, Manson Lafayette McDaniel and Eunice Victoria Dunaway McDaniel; her husband James Calvin "Peck" McLelland; and her siblings, John Dennis McDaniel, Sr. and Doris Luvenia McDaniel Ross. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews; and several friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Calvary Baptist Church (205 Bishop Rd, Cleveland, MS 38732). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 at 2:45 PM at the New Cleveland Cemetery (1098 Old Hwy 61, Cleveland, MS 38732).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Calvary Baptist Church in her honor.
