She was predeceased by: her parents, Elijah Farrish and Estelle Farrish; her husband Charles Ellis Dunlap; her brother Frank Farish; her sister-in-law Wynell Farrish; her sister Ann Grittman; her brother-in-law Howard Grittman; and her grandson Scott Blackstone.
She is survived by: her daughter Delia Blackstone (Sid); her grandchildren, Steve Blackstone, Spencer Blackstone and Shannon Scalese (Anthony); her daughter-in-law Judy Blackstone; and her great grandchildren, Brady, Tyler, Dylan, Carter, Lucy and Norah. She is also survived by nephews, nieces, great-nieces, and great-nephews, along with extended family and countless friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (101 N Bolivar Ave, Cleveland, MS 38732). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Jane was also honored with the First Lady of the Year award by Beta Sigma Phi International and received recognition from the Cleveland Chamber of Commerce, as well as the DAR Excellence In Community Service Award for her outstanding contributions to the city of Cleveland and Indianola.
