She is survived by: her sons, Dannie Couey and Steve Couey (Cyndi); her grandchildren, Lauren Couey, Michael Hunter Couey, Steven Couey (Laura) and Clint Couey; her great grandchildren, Rivers Couey, Autumn Couey, Cason Couey and Clark Couey; her brothers, William "Bill" Strait (Nelda) and Charles Strait (Janice); and her sisters-in-law, Wilma Strait and Linda Ingram. She is also survived by cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Ray Funeral Home (206 Bishop Rd, Cleveland, MS 38732). A celebration of life was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the Beulah Cemetery.
