It is with sadness that the passing of Hilton Tarver (Cleveland, Mississippi) is shared. Hilton, born on June 27, 1939 in Shaw, Mississippi, passed away on September 14, 2026. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Hilton Tarver to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, H. C. "Joe" Tarver and Birtie Tarver; and his siblings, Alton, James of Carl, H. C., Bobby, Louise and Margaret.
He is survived by: his wife Glenda Faye Vaught Tarver; his sons, David Marshall Tarver (Janet), Perry Keith Tarver (Kim) and Jeffrey Brian Tarver (Amy); his grandchildren, Emily Tarver Wade (Tyler), Erin Tarver Brunson (Spencer), Benjamin Tarver (Shreve), Nathan Tarver (Alena), Eric Tarver (Jamie), Katie Tarver Victor (Andrew), Joseph Tarver, Kathleen Tarver and Caroline Tarver; and his brother Joe Tarver. He is also survived by grandkids and 11 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ray Funeral Home (206 Bishop Rd, Cleveland, MS 38732). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Shaw City Cemetery West Peeler (101 Faison St, Shaw, MS 38773).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
