He is survived by: his wife Janice Haynes; his children, Sherry Haynes, Kelly Johnson (Deb), Stacey Zarras (Lee), James Cody Haynes (Stephanie), Abigail Meredith and Andrea Pawling (Andrew); his grandchildren, Kirsten Borrel (Bobby), Brittnee Johnson, Mackenzee Johnson, Corey Zarras (Lydia), Alex Zarras (Reagan), Riley Haynes, Eliza Haynes, Maddox Meredith, Maverick Meredith, Addy Rayl and Adalyn Pawling; his siblings, Gloria Phalp (Steve) and Phillip Haynes (Sandy); his sisters-in-law, Trudy Racine (Rick) and Michelle Blough; and his nephew James.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Ray Funeral Home (206 Bishop Rd, Cleveland, MS 38732). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the North Mississippi Veterans Cemetery (2 Legion Rd, Kilmichael, MS 39747).
