With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jonett Valentine of Cleveland, Mississippi, born in Lambert, Mississippi, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 26, 2025 at the age of 89. She was predeceased by: her mother Frieda Sanford (Jonett); her husband John Valentine; her brother Murray Sanford; and her father William Sanford. She is survived by: her son Christopher John Valentine; and her sister Mary Catherine Collins (Gary).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Ray Funeral Home (206 Bishop Rd, Cleveland, MS 38732). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
