She was predeceased by: her parents, James William and Burdie Chaney; and her brothers, William Marshall Chaney, Albert Chaney and Larry Chaney.
She is survived by: her husband Marion Lee Upton; her children, Marshall Weeks, Tim Weeks and Melanie Bell (Terry); her grandchildren, Garrett Weeks (Savana), Steven Lowery, Kevin Weeks, Meagan Farrow (Matt), Tesla Weeks, Rebecca Tipton (Billy), Cescily Weeks and Rachael Weeks; her great grandchildren, Shambria Spearman, Braylynn Lowery, Kacee Tipton, Macy Farrow, Mattie Farrow and Micah Weeks; and her siblings, Roy Chaney (Malinda) of Billy Chaney, J. W, Lonnie Chaney (Martha), Luvenia Farmer (Nick) and Brenda Chaney.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Ray Funeral Home (206 Bishop Rd, Cleveland, MS 38732). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the New Cleveland Cemetery (1098 Old Hwy 61, Cleveland, MS 38732).
