In the vast expanse of eternity, Mavis shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Mavis farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her father Boyd Morgan; her husband Harold Burgess Sr.; her parent Willie Maude Gregory; and her siblings, Margie Gordon and Ralph Morgan.
She is survived by: her children, Harold A. Burgess Jr. (Gail) and Cynthia Burgess McCool (Ken); her grandsons, Dustin Burgess and Michael McCool; and her brothers, Charles Morgan and Roger Morgan. She is also survived by great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
