He is survived by: his wife Sandra Tisdell Buford; his children, Justin Buford (Lindsay), Rachel Buford Mckee (Clay, Jr.) and Jonathan Buford; his grandchildren, Mckenzie Buford, Anakatherine Burrell, Brody, Bella, Everett, Tate Robinson, Caroline and Skyler Buford; and his siblings, Linda Kirkpatrick, Karen Mollahan and David Buford.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 13th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Covenant Presbyterian Church (110 Bishop Rd, Cleveland, MS 38732). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, January 13th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, January 13th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the North Cleveland Cemetery N Bayou (1098 Old Hwy 61, Cleveland, MS 38732).
