He is survived by: his wife Kim Phillips Townsend; and his siblings, Kathy Warfield (Walter) of Ruleville, Mississippi, Timmy Townsend (Mary) of Ruleville and Bill Crocker (Ashley) of Iowa. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
