Bettye Jo Graham Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 4, 2025, at the age of 98, Bettye Jo Graham of Clinton, Mississippi passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parent Cleo Nester Cooper; her husband Merle Graham; her grandfather Merle Graham; her father Elton Cooper; her son-in-law David Harvey; and her siblings, Ken Cooper, Carolyn Welcher, John Cooper, Lealus Cooper, Mary Jeanette Hawn, Claudine Gordon, Thelma Jowers and Billie Jeansonne.
She is survived by: her daughters, Gloria Harvey, Pam Smith (Carl) and Melanie Everett (Bill); her grandchildren, Amanda Quarles (Jeremy), Jennifer Rogers (Chris), Christopher Smith (Kourtney), Ross Everett (Sarah), Joanna Everett, William Everett (Jenny) and Melissa Harvey; her great grandchildren, Graham, Cooper Quarles, Ellen, Gunner Rogers, Anniston, Lainey Everett, Liam Everett and Lily Harvey; her siblings, Sammie Durand, Joyce Lawrence, Martha Durand (Danny) and Robert Cooper (Sharon); her sister-in-law Lealus Cooper (Kay); and her caregiver Felicia White. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Calvary Baptist Church (1300 W Capitol St, Jackson, MS 39203). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Lakewood Memorial Park (6000 Clinton Blvd, Jackson, MS 39209).
