With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Jason Porter of Clinton, Mississippi, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 2, 2026 at the age of 49. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though James Jason may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those James Jason touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his wife Anne Marie Dozier Porter. He is survived by: his parents, Maxine Wilk Porter Hurst of Clinton and Barry Porter (Debbie) of Brandon; his daughter Brianna Porter (Brandon Sayan) of Buford, GA; his granddaughter Unity Sayan; his siblings, Michael Vaughn Porter of Brandon and Rachel Puckett (Ryan) of Brandon; and his nephews, Nolan and Jack Puckett. He is also survived by his Aunts and many cousins.
