She was predeceased by: her husband Samuel E. "Billy" Young; her son-in-law Mark J. Fisher; her siblings, Sonia Wilson, Nina Elkins and Dillon Priester; and her nephew Bruce Godard.
She is survived by: her daughters, Debbie Fisher and Christy Mullen; her grandson Tim Fisher (Michelle) of Clinton; her daughter Ashley Alford (Justin) of Ridgeland; her great grandchild Shane Pyron (Jamey); her grandchildren, Skyler Jean Mullen, Tabitha, JP Fisher, Sabrina Strasser and Rayme Alford; her great great grandchild Beckett Pyron; her great grandchildren, Everett Mullen-McJordan, Maisyn Caffey and Ellie Strasser-Duckworth; Gayle, Marke Robertson, Amy, Chuck Upchurch, Janice, Richie East, Lisa Gray, Jessica and Dave Riccio.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Lakewood Funeral Home (6011 Clinton Blvd, Jackson, MS 39209). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Natchez City Cemetery.
