He was predeceased by: his wife Liza (Liza) of Rockbridge County, Virginia.; his parents, Thelma Sullivan, and John Fallon Sullivan, Sr.; and his brother William E. Sullivan (Bill). He is survived by: his sons, John F. Sullivan III (Hope) of Harrisonburg and James Sterrett Sullivan (Suzanne) of Madison; his grandson John Fallon Sullivan IV (Virginia) of Richmond; his brother Fred C. Sullivan (Jeannie) of West Grove; and his sister-in-law Ann Sullivan. He is also survived by two nieces and a nephew.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be given to the Clinton Christian Community Center or Clinton Methodist Church.
