He was predeceased by : his parents, John Henry Gibson, Sr. and Elizabeth Wood Gibson; and his siblings, Phyllis Gibson, Velma Gibson, Carrie Gibson, John Henry Gibson, Jr., Ellis Gibson and Willie Gibson.
He is survived by : his children, Kimberly Nolan of Bolton, MS and Kevin Nolan of Jackson, MS; and his siblings, Irene Gibson of Bolton, MS, Mamie Lee Gibson of Utica, MS, Karen Gibson of Jackson, MS, Laura Terrell (Percy) of Utica, MS, Lillie Wade of Camden, SC and Larry Dotson (Felicia) of Jackson, MS. He is also survived by grandchildren, nieces, nephews.
