She was predeceased by: her parents, Melton Haney and Ina Frances Montgomery (Kendrick); and her husband Don Norman Williams. She is survived by: her children, Alex Scott Williams (Mitzi (Martin) Williams) of Clinton and Donna Sue Duarte (Steve Duarte) of Severna Park, Maryland; and her grandchildren, Bria Grissom (Williams), Levi Williams, Lani Williams, Isaac Duarte, Michaela Chang (Duarte) and Daniel Duarte.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Jackson First Assembly of God (6339 MS-18, Jackson, MS 39209).
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be sent to Scott and Mitzi Williams at 427 Wayne St., Clinton, MS 39056, or given to your local church in Peggy's honor.
