He was predeceased by: his parents, Matthew Jackson and Frances Jackson; his wife Betty Valentine; his daughter Melody; and his siblings, Juanita McCleland and Earle Jackson.
He is survived by: his daughter Trisha (Dave Qualls) of Clinton; his brother Frank Jackson of Terry; and his brother-in-law Sam Valentine of Carthage.
