She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell P. Creech and Lena Pearl Sappington Creech; and her husband Carroll Dean "Sonny" Laird. She is survived by: her children, Suzanne Laird Parker (Ronnie) of Tallulah, Louisiana and Christopher Dean Laird (Patti Ann) of Clinton, Mississippi; and her grandchildren, Christian Gage Laird (Hannah) of Brandon, Elijah James Laird of Clinton and Kelly Nicole Johnson of Clinton, Mississippi..

A graveside service will be held on Monday, November 2nd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Greenlawn Gardens Cemetery (191 US-80, Vicksburg, MS 39180).
