He is survived by: his wife Jo Merritt; his daughter Nicole Bailey (Clinton); and his grandchildren, Jack Bailey of Clinton, Mississippi., Glenn Bailey of Clinton, Mississippi., Grace Bailey of Clinton, Mississippi. and Ella Bailey of Clinton, Mississippi..

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Memory Chapel Funeral Home (3100 Audubon Dr, Laurel, MS 39440). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
