She was predeceased by : her parents, Robert Hope and Edna McGee Hope; her son Philip Wesley Tharpe; her grandson Jeremy Cole Tharpe; and her siblings, Barbara Hope, Bobby Gene Hope and Jimmy Hope.
She is survived by : her husband Will Tharpe; her children, Rene Shaw of Coffeeville, Tanya Tharpe of Wichita, KS, Steven Tharpe (Jean) of Las Vegas, NV and William Tharpe, III of Tupelo; her sisters, June Moore of Memphis, Mary Presley of Pope and Martha Benson of Hattiesburg; and her grandchildren, Jaimi Saylor, Laurie Tharpe, Jessica Tharpe, Meghan Blubaugh, Josh Tharpe, Adam Shaw, Cali Schmitt, Christopher Shaw, Matthew Sharkey, Tamara Tharpe, Hunter Shaw, Stuart Shaw, Jayson Gazaway Tharpe and Justin Tharpe. She is also survived by 31 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
