He was predeceased by: his parents, Tom Edmondson and Thelma Faulkner Edmondson; his wife Betty Edmondson; and his siblings, JW Edmondson, Jamie Edmondson, Elizabeth Gilder, Katie Havens, Margaret Sprouse and Peggy Wicker.

He is survived by: his daughters, Tammy Walters of West Point and Angie Edmondson of Pontotoc; his siblings, Carter Edmondson of Oxford and Dot Wiggs of West Point; his grandchildren, Abby Fortner (Buck), Hunter Walters (Keaton) and Gracie Vance; and his great grandchild Alivia Fortner. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
