He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Stone Coward; his children, Pamela Ann Coward of Mendenhall, MS, Lisa Coward Ferguson (David) of Coila, MS and Marvin Dwayne Coward (Theresa) of Coila; his grandchildren, Kelsey Joiner (Chad) of Coila, Kaylee Ferguson of Carrollton, Gracee Ferguson of Coila and Braylon Ferguson of Coila; and his great grandchild Braxtyn Joiner of Coila.
