She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Phillips and Eugenia Phillips; her husband Dale Howe; her grandson Matthew Linn Howe; and her brother Jimmy Phillips.

She is survived by: her children, Paula Sowell (Larry) and Linn Howe (Mandy); her grandchildren, Lauren Sowell McDonald (Orry), Phillips Sowell, Elizabeth Howe Crafton (Jeffrey) and Shelby Howe; her great grandchildren, Jaxon Paul McDonald, Layne Thomas McDonald, Carson Gracie Crafton, Cali James Crafton and Little Daniel; and her brother Bobby Phillips.

In lieu of flowers, she requested contributions be made to Evansville Baptist Church, Arkabutla Eastern Star Chapter #404, or Shiners Hospital.
