He was predeceased by: his parents, Aubrey Stewart and Emma Green Stewart; his former wife Charlotte Parker Stewart; and his brothers, Larry Stewart and Max Martin Stewart.
He is survived by: his wife Joy of Jonesboro; his children, Tamara Stewart of Coldwater, MS, Robert Jr. Stewart (Holly) of Coldwater, MS, Eric Stewart (Theresa) of Olive Branch, MS and Jennifer Falk (Evan) of Brookland; and his sisters, Debra Bush and Cynthia Starr of Cowan, TN. He is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home (300 W Matthews Ave, Jonesboro, AR 72401). A burial was held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery (3600 AR-163, Cherry Valley, AR 72324).
In memoriam, in lieu of flowers donations may be made to All Saints Lutheran School (elementary- junior high) of Jonesboro or the Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House of Jonesboro.
