It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William T. McGee of Coldwater, Mississippi, who passed away on May 20, 2026, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. As William departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved William. Though William may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his wife Frances Pearl McGee; his parents, Dewey Troy and Alcie Smith McGee; and his brother Clifford McGee. He is survived by: his sons, William Darrell McGee (Eloise) and Mark Anthony McGee (Heather); and his brother Dewey McGee. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren.
