Ann Davis Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ann Davis (Collins, Mississippi), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 25, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elroy Guy Sr. and Sarah Hudson Guy; her former husband Phil Gatwood; her husband Thomas Davis; her stepson Herbert Davis; and her brothers, Johnny Guy and Micky Guy.
She is survived by: her children, Ronald Gatwood (Randi) of Lucedale, Guy Gatwood (Kathy) of Prentiss, Deda Richard (Steve) of Tylertown and Bridgette Bullock of Florence; her stepchildren, Dennis Davis (Teresa) of Raymond, Tammy Lowe (Dewayne), Lori Vening Jackson (Greg), Danille Soto (Jesse) of California, Chris Brown of Hattiesburg and DeEtte Faubel (Dan) of San Antonio, TX; and her siblings, Sonny Guy (Sharon), Glen Guy (Diane), Wayne Guy (Trish), David Joe Guy (Angie), Keith Guy (Kay), Densol Guy, Shirel Taylor and Faye Stewart. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the New Chapel United Pentecostal Church (632 Blackjack-New Chapel Rd, Collins, MS 39428). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
Her contributions to her family and community will forever be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
