She was predeceased by: her parents, Dora Kirkland Carter and Joel Watt Carter; her husband Hudson J. Louque; her son-in-law Danny O. Williams; her grandson Mark P. Williams; and her brother Vernon Lee Carter.
She is survived by: her daughters, Vicki Williams of Starkville and Vivian Yeatman (Tommy) of Columbus; her grandchildren, Valerie Hicks (James), Luke Yeatman (Laura Catherine) and Trent Yeatman; her granddaughter-in-law Jacque Williams; her brother J. W. Carter (Yvonne); and her sister-in-law Emmagene Carter. She is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 19th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Salem Baptist Church (338 Salem Church Rd, Collins, MS 39428). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 19th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
