It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Eva Maxine Ellzey Rawls of Collins, Mississippi, who passed away on July 17, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Erby Sidney Ellzey and Victoria Jane Floyd Ellzey; her husband William Vince "W. V." Rawls; her son William Sidney "Buster" Rawls; and her sisters, Bonnie Ellzey Chain and Gloria Ellzey Vaughn Proctor.

She is survived by : her children, Charles Greg Rawls of Collins, Eva Jane Rawls Edwards (Tommy) of Petal and Tena Marie Rawls Corr (Don) of Mableton, Georgia; her close friend Bryan G. Johnson of Collins; and her sister Kim Sibley of Slidell, Louisiana. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
