He was predeceased by: his parents, Pat Jones and Edna Knight Arinder; his sister Patricia Jones Lampley; his parents-in-law, Ollie and Lois Wilson Sanford; his sisters-in-law, Pauline Sanford Rivers (Berlin), Betty Sanford Stubbs (Hugh) and Elaine Sanford Gentry (Charlie); and his nephew Randy Rivers.
He is survived by: his wife Jerry Sue Sanford Jones of Collins; his son Kyle Jones of Ridgeland; his nephew Jason Taylor; his nieces, Virginia Lowery (Jimmy), Shelia Chachere (Richard), Tammie Briscoe and Hope Daley (Larry); and his friend Paul Runnels of Collins. He is also survived by great nieces, great nephews, and many friends.
