She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Sumner and Mattie Elizabeth Wells Sumner; her husband Willis C. Sanford; her son Larry Nelson Sanford; her son-in-law Billy McQueen; and her siblings, H. F. "Bill" Sumner, Polly Gatewood, Earline Hill and Callie Mae Baggett.
She is survived by: her children, Charles Michael Sanford (Deborah) of Collins and Judy Elizabeth McQueen of Seminary; her daughter-in-law Janet Clark Sanford of Seminary; and her grandchildren, Eddie Sanford, Craig Sanford, Melissa Sanford-Gilmore (Terry Holbrook), Brad Sanford (Beth), Cherie Allmon (Mike), Katrina Sanford, Kala Poore (Richard) and Wes McQueen. She is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren; a host of great-great grandchildren; as well as other relatives and friends.
