Virgil Ray Culpepper Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Virgil Ray Culpepper of Collins, Mississippi, who passed away on August 3, 2025 at the age of 63. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Sue Long Culpepper and Randolph Culpepper; his stepmother Marie Culpepper; and his siblings, Randy Culpepper and Martha "Sissy" Culpepper Sanford.
He is survived by: his daughter Amanda Pittman (Kevin) of Collins; his granddaughter Kensi Belle Pittman of Collins; his former wife Sandra Wilson Ervin of Prentiss; his brother Lee Roy Culpepper (Louise) of Clarkton, NC; and his sibling's children, Hope Crosby, Megan Culpepper, Jannie Nicole Culpepper, Jeffery Lee Sanford and Karen Sanford. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to the Evergreen Baptist Church Building Fund at 65 Evergreen Church Road, Seminary, MS 39479.
