She was predeceased by: her parents, John Thad and Margie Carpenter; her husband Walter Clyde Walker, Jr.; and her brother Col. Terry Carpenter. She is survived by: her children, Randy Walker (Joann), Ricky Walker (Chris) and Renee Vance; her grandchildren, Davey Walker (Jessica), Luke Walker (Katherine), Emily Crenshaw (Kyle), Randel Calhoon (Dominic), Mallory Peden (Steven) and Jacob Vance (Anna Kate Shows); her great grandchildren, Conner Walker (Tera), Caroline Walker (Jake Adams), Mady Crenshaw, Hunter Crenshaw, Wyatt Crenshaw, Mya Crenshaw, Avery Walker, Dallas Walker, Josie Waite and Cindy Peden; her great great grandchild Walter Wayne Walker; her close friend Rayburn Rigdon; her sisters, Glenda Reid and Dianne Agnew; and her sister-in-law Brenda Baker. She is also survived by numerous other family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:15 PM at the Robert Barham Family Funeral Home (6300 MS-39, Meridian, MS 39305). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the same location.
In addition to flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions in memory of Mrs. Walker be made to the Collinsville Volunteer Fire Department or to First Baptist Church Collinsville's Generations Fund.
